I AM NOT A GRAPHIC ARTIST!

But I try real hard...

The original logo was a jpg. Graphics people can't use jpgs, they are based on pixels which break up when you enlarge them. Vectors dont' because they are based on math, and coordinates (below you can see the coordinates in action). Our original logo, on top right of this page, is 400 pixels wide. Stretch it bigger than that it looks like hell. The new logo (in progress) could be enlarged big enough to drape over the Empire State building, it would look just as good. The problem is I am not a graphic artist, which means I've been learning yet another computer program every night..

The reason for all this background logo work is very exciting - t-shirts and patches, maybe even stickers. One of our ideas is to put on some tutorial seminars at the dealership, Tri Valley. Then maybe even bring some customers to the track. We plan to charge nothing for this, instead we will offer a shirt, or a patch. If you feel you got something out of the effort, buy a shirt. The proceeds will go toward the race fund. Cool idea right? I know, I know, what if you don't live in California? No problem. I made a promise to myself that I will create some video tutorials for you, on this site. Same thing, if you feel you got something from them and you want to contribute to the program, buy a shirt, or buy a patch.
